Crime on the Beach: 13-year-old teenager stabs 6-year-old child in Jamaica

A 13-year-old teenager killed, this Monday, with knife blows, a 6-year-old child, in the Jamaica neighborhood, on the outskirts of the city of Praia. An area located on the slope of the old airport and which gives access to the neighborhood of Achada Grande Frente, where the headquarters of the Judiciary Police are located.

According to the RCV, the teenager, with the murder weapon in his hand, surrendered to the police. The Judiciary Police agents, astonished, put the teenager in the vehicle, which guided them to the place where the lifeless body of the 6-year-old child was found.

The PJ is already investigating the case to determine the causes that may have led to this new blood crime in the Capital, now involving children.

For the president of the Citizenship Observatory, this is a delicate situation that must be duly followed up by the competent authorities. Orlando Lima suggested that the alleged perpetrator of the crime should be supported and accompanied so that the referred case does not have harmful consequences on his physical and social development and on his future life.
