Long-haul aircraft with capacity between 250 and 300 passengers.
Therefore, it would imply the return of the B737 to TAAG and the possible arrival, also on leasing, of another B737 Max.
And certainly the necessary extension of the runway at Praia Airport…
I remembered that song from my childhood/adolescence!
“If an elephant bothers a lot of people,
Two elephants are much more annoying..”
The gods must be crazy in the skies of Cape Verde!!
It can only be, if these rumors are consistent!!!
Everything is done in this depleted country based on an atrocious and unexpected convenience and circumstance!! Without measuring the unpredictable consequences that always exist.
It is clear that this Board of Directors has been too slow and inappropriate to restart the company. It has a fleet of two aircraft that spend more time on the ground than flying. They are unable to place them in the skies, to other destinations, because they first have to overcome many inertial, administrative and operational problems, which, in fact, some were previously created with “those strategic partners”!!
The commercial part of the company is penalizing… too much!!
The operational part, no better, in fits and starts, with good pilots still on the ground. And a PCA, chronic and still demonstrably outside the context of the sector, in disputes, always peripheral, regarding the management of the company's human resources.
It really is a flight ahead!!!
In a country where you can't even fly between islands. And there are plans to fly with taxpayers' money abroad. Like when Cape Verdeans subsidized the holidays and trips of nationals from other countries during the time of Cabo Verde Airlines with the low fares they sold!!!
Nothing can be done with a weakened and worn-out (dis)Government that apparently doesn't even dare to leave the Plateau or Várzea air conditioning to speak to the good professionals in the sector. Some are in retirement, others are active and still others are in “decreed” inactivity…
