In an interview with Inforpress, this 43-year-old woman says she is “empowered, satisfied” and with one of her dreams come true, as it has always been an area that she liked, but that she never had the opportunity to do any cooking training, the not being one in the service area that also helps you in receiving customers.

According to the same source, women and even young people “should pursue their dreams”, explaining that he had no idea that nowadays he would be able to achieve the success he has had, which he attributes to God and his clients.
As she said, she was an employee of the Ministry of Education on Brava and over time she decided to start a bazaar, where she sold clothes, shoes and other products, in a rented space.

Then he went on to make bread rolls with chorizo and cheese, among others, which he sold in the late afternoon. And, one day, he said, at the place where he had his bazaar, he decided to make pizza, but not for sale, except that the “smell caught the attention of the neighbors” who went to buy it and decided to go ahead with the business.

Hence, he reinforced that he continued to make his breads and pizza without giving up his work and the bazaar.

But, after some time, in the same space, he decided to apply for an unpaid license and requested a license to open a snack bar, but since he could not sell drinks, he decided to apply for a new license, now to open a bar//restaurant.

Gradually he managed to find his own space and with that he asked for the termination of his contract with the Ministry of Education, dedicating himself to his business, where he employs two more young women.

Asked about her motivation, she did not hesitate to attribute the merit to her customers, as she said that the establishment is located in Nossa Senhora do Monte, but that it receives customers from all over the island and satisfaction is shown by them whenever they come and go .

The idea is to continue and expand the business more and more, even facing some difficulties, namely with the acquisition of products, remembering that in Brava the cost is always higher, but it is something that is overcome, resorting to other solutions.

And seeing her initiative succeed, she asks all women to dedicate themselves and pursue their dreams because it's never too late and young people who are always looking for something to do.

“Never give up, you always have to chase your dreams, even if the difficulties are many and the desire to give up arises, but with willpower anything is possible”, concluded the entrepreneur.
