Speaking to Inforpress, David Pascoal informed that the protective gate that will provide greater security for children at this school was financed by an emigrant from the United States of America, who wishes to remain anonymous.
According to this director, this construction is of “great value”, because now parents in charge of education will be more relaxed when their children are at school and teachers will have more control over the children when they are playing in the playground.
“We can say that from now on children will be safer and will be able to play freely within the school grounds. As we can see, the school is located opposite the main road, which is heavily trafficked by cars, which puts the safety of students at risk, as children are unpredictable and can become distracted and cross the street without due precautions, which could cause accidents”, he highlighted.
David Pascoal praised the “noble” gesture and took the opportunity to thank the emigrant in question, however, he appealed for more support of this kind, highlighting that everyone's contribution and help in the well-being and education of children are always welcome.
