In statements to Inforpress, Samuel Varela said he regretted this and stressed that the association, since October, has been constantly gathering with the clubs to see where support can be found, bearing in mind that they are aware of the teams' difficulties.
In this sense, he assured that the association has always shown its availability, however the organizational factor, he considered to be "very critical", taking into account that some teams are organized and others are not and each of them has claimed their reasons.
"All we can do is regret this and all the problems the Brava teams have been facing (...). However, we're not going to stand still, because we have some projects in mind to try and occupy young people," he said.
Samuel Varela stressed that the association will now work together with the management of the teams to help them fine-tune, so that next year there can be competition.
"Of course there was a disagreement between the clubs and the players and this was visible, because the teams have to understand that the players have the right to claim something in exchange for their services to the clubs and this cause has caused several players to leave the island to play in other leagues," he concluded.
