This information was provided to Inforpress by the coordinator of Brava's Local Employment and Employability Network, Mário Soares, noting that the beneficiaries have started the third phase of training on good hygiene and production practices, with two trainers from CV Qualy, which aims to beginning of the production phase.
With the beginning of this phase, the presentation and tasting of the products made by the beneficiaries have already been scheduled for next Thursday, the 6th, thus entering the phase that everyone wanted, which was production and commercialization.
The official added that the beneficiaries will also get a source of income, stressing that they are counting on the collaboration of potential customers.
He indicated that the network, in partnership with the Municipality of Brava, had sent an invitation to all hotel and tourist institutions and commercial establishments to publicize this product, and the opportunity to get to know the production space and hygiene care.
After this demonstration and tasting, Mário Soares informed that the young people will start producing to sell, in the expectation that potential partners will purchase these products and place them in their establishments to have greater dissemination of a typical Brava product, which is one of the riches that comes from the sea.
Asked about the criteria for selecting the project's beneficiaries, he explained that taking into account the youth unemployment rate, which mainly affects women heads of families, the project was designed to empower these young people and women, but also guarantee a source of income.
Mário Soares confirmed that the network was committed to the policy of providing training, preparing young people and then guaranteeing a livelihood for the family, which has been created for some time.
The project started with free training and transport, acquisition of kits, space made available by the city council without leasing costs and acquisition of raw material in this initial phase.
The beneficiaries, he concluded, have to do their utmost, take over the business and become empowered in this project that was designed for them and which has a brand study to carry out the labelling.
