Brava City Council: Note of Condolence for the Physical Disappearance of Mr. Albert H. Raneo
It is with deep regret and consternation that we received the news of the passing of Mr. Albert H. Raneo, Sr., a personality who dedicated his life to family, community and actions that transcended borders and generations.
On behalf of the people of Brava Island and the Brava City Council, I wish to express my most sincere condolences to his wife, Mrs. Josephine J. Raneo, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all your family and friends.
Mr. Albert H. Raneo, Sr. will forever hold a special place in the hearts of the Bravenses, for the genuine connection and affection he demonstrated for this island, where he had the opportunity to walk the streets of his ancestors and relive the memories of a legacy that also belongs to us.
Your dedication to preserving and promoting Cape Verdean history and culture, especially through projects such as the Cape Verdean cultural education programs on Cape Cod, was a noble gesture that will never be forgotten.
His life was marked by his passion for community service, his love for his family and his tireless quest to contribute to the memory and future of those who crossed his path. May his example of dedication to family, work and solidarity inspire future generations.
At this time of grief, we would like to reiterate that the people of Brava are united with the family in thought and prayer. May the fond memories and legacy left by Mr. Albert Raneo bring comfort and serenity to all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
May God welcome him into His eternal home and comfort the grieving hearts.
