Brava City Council presents the social diagnosis and local project for Brava Island
Today, we attended the presentation of the social diagnosis and local project of Brava Island, a project carried out over approximately one year by Mrs. Maria Assunção Tavares, with the valuable support of the Municipal Councils of Oeiras and Brava. This highly relevant project aims to identify the deficiencies and needs of the island and its population.
After a year of in-depth research, the diagnosis was successfully completed. Mrs. Maria Assunção Tavares expressed great satisfaction at having been able to contribute to the development of the island and expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from the local population, stating that she will take with her the morality of the island and its people.
In turn, the Mayor, Francisco Tavares, highlighted the importance of cooperation with the Oeiras Council, which was fundamental to the completion of this diagnosis. This pioneering project represents an in-depth study of the needs of Brava Island and its inhabitants.
It is now essential to continue this significant work, implementing the recommendations and monitoring the progress of interventions to ensure effective improvements in the population's quality of life.
