Brava: School delegation promotes various events to celebrate teacher's month

In statements to Inforpress, the Education delegate, Vergílio Lopes Pires, considered that April is the month of the Cape Verdean teacher, especially the 23rd, indicating some planned activities.

"The three educational structures, namely the delegation, grouping 1 and 2, have various activities taking place during the month and collectively we have prepared three events that we consider to be macro," he said.

He recalled that last Wednesday, the 16th, a sports afternoon was held at the secondary school pavilion, and that an "ecological hike" to the highest point on the island is also planned for the next few days, bringing together all the teachers, in partnership with the Biflores association.

"We also have a talk underway, or rather an open conversation with a specialist who will be coming from the city of Praia, precisely to talk to all those who belong to the area of education in the council, but also guests or other interested people, in order to have information, more knowledge about financial education," he said.

According to the delegate, on Tuesday 22nd there will be a convivial dinner in the town of Furna, where everyone will be able to take part and the organization is expecting a large number of teachers to attend.

Lopes called on the teachers to celebrate the 23rd "with pomp and circumstance", but also called for "moderation and responsibility" from everyone.
