In recent days, the island has witnessed the arrival of important shipments of materials and equipment. Before Christmas, two containers arrived in Brava, followed by four more on January 3rd. The expectation is that by the 14th of this month, a new container will arrive, and in February, another six will be on the way. As a result, the solution to water scarcity in Brava is getting closer, both in terms of quantity and quality.

According to the local mayor, the Bravense community expresses deep gratitude to the Government of Cape Verde, under the leadership of Ulisses Correia e Silva, and to Luxembourg Cooperation, for the essential partnership that made this project possible. This advance represents not only a solution to water scarcity, but also a giant step in the sustainable development of this paradise island.

"Together to solve problems with a focus on improving people's living conditions", highlighted Mayor Francisco Tavares, reinforcing the spirit of unity and cooperation that has been fundamental to overcoming local challenges. The completion of the Desalination Station not only ensures the water supply, but also promises to boost progress and quality of life in Brava.
