This scenario raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the team’s management and preparation. The team responsible for the selection had known about the tournament for a long time, and the lack of preparation not only compromises the team’s performance, but also raises doubts about the seriousness with which the process was conducted. The main question is whether Brava is participating just to make an appearance or whether it intends to compete in a dignified and competitive manner.

The selection of the coaching staff and players has been a controversial point. The players were selected at the last minute, without sufficient time for a proper prior evaluation. Ideally, the coaching staff should have been defined before the start of the first tournament in May, allowing for a more structured preparation. The lack of an early selection and the lack of an adequate training period compromise the team's chances of competing on equal terms with teams that prepared months in advance.

Dissatisfaction with the management of the process is evident. Brava has a tradition of participating in competitions with rushed and poorly organized preparation, which has been a constant obstacle to sporting success. Brava athletes are recognized for their potential and quality, and deserve to have the opportunity to represent the island with dignity and professionalism.

While support for the team is unconditional and indispensable, it is crucial that a deep reflection be made on the administration of the sport on the island. Commitment to adequate preparation and efficient management are essential to ensure that Brava can compete on an equal footing with other teams in the future and achieve the results that its athletes and fans deserve.
