The play begins with stories of emigration to Africa, the United States of America and Europe, taking the opportunity to demonstrate mainly to children, adolescents and young people the value of emigration for the Cape Verdean people.
According to the author, it took about two months to write and rehearse the piece, even with some difficulties that were circumvented, taking into account that the participants are students, workers, belonging to different parishes, requiring articulation and with some sacrifice presented Saturday the result of all this.
As for the choreography, it had the support of two participants, namely Fernanda Burgo and Ana Pires, who after choosing together the songs that fit the piece, they took the responsibility of rehearsing the other participants.
Asked about the next steps, he informed that he will work on a second part, a play that will take the actors to countries they don't know, but that will make them internalize and assimilate the experience in this country in order to present it to the public.
