Nô Pintcha's team beat Corôa by 3-2 in the game counting for the first round of the Taça Brava, in a game played today at Estádio Aquiles D'Oliveira.

The opening game was played between Morabeza and Benfica, the result was 1-1, with Benfica's goal being scored by Zézé with a penalty kick in the 36th minute and Morabeza's goal in the 97th minute.

The two goals raised doubts on the part of the coaches, and Lourenço Pereira, coach of Benfica, in statements to the press considered that the arbitration was "biased", emphasizing that the referee gave 5 minutes of compensation, but when this time ran out, he did not give the final whistle, with the game taking a few more minutes, where the equalizer came.

Faced with this situation, this helmsman advanced that this makes it difficult for any team to play against Morabeza, when it is known that the arbitration “will be biased”, announcing that his team will consider whether or not it is worth making all the effort to come and participate in the competitions of this sporting season.

On the part of Morabeza, Nêy Lokô made a positive assessment of the game, noting that this is already another competition and some adjustments were necessary.

However, he stressed that his team also doubted the penalty kick, where Benfica's goal appeared, considering that this shot "was very doubtful".

The Morabeza team, according to the coach, "intends to remain focused in all disputes and correct the mistakes made in each game to maintain a good participation in this sporting season".

In the second game, Nô Pintcha beat Corôa by 3-2 with goals from Júnior and Fufuco for Corôa and Nelson and Alex who scored twice for Nô Pintcha.

The coach of Nô Pintcha, Carlinhos Martins considered it a “fair and deserved” result, stressing that the team has already entered this dispute more motivated and will continue its work with a focus on the objective.

Osvaldino Neves, Corôa's substitute coach, regretted the situation, as he justified that his team started to win by two balls, but after 20 minutes of play it is not possible to explain what happened and the team ended up conceding three goals, not reaching thus the expected result which was victory.

But, he added that the team will lift its head, correct the mistakes and continue the tests.

With these results, Nô Pintcha has 3 points in the league table, followed by Benfica and Morabeza with 1 point each and Corôa without a score.

The Brava Cup games will be interspersed with the championship games, which are being played by four of the seven federated teams, namely, Benfica, Corôa, Morabeza and Nô Pintcha.
