Brava: EST holds careers fair to raise students' awareness of career choices
The Eugénio Tavares secondary school in Brava held a careers fair today, with the aim of guiding students from the 9th to 12th grades in choosing a career.

In statements to Inforpress, the director of the Nova Sintra Educational Complex, Elisangela Pinheiro, explained that this is the sixth edition of the fair, whose motto this year is "Your choice your way".
He added that the event aims to provide students with lots of information and opportunities to share with professionals from different areas.
"The students are getting information about different professional areas, which will help them in the future and enable them to make an assertive choice about what career they can choose later on. There was also a workshop, where they could listen to testimonies from professionals and have open conversations," he said.
In addition to the informative exhibitions, the event also featured a parade of various professions, providing a practical and visual experience of the different areas of work.
For her part, 12th grader Elaine Lopes stressed that although she is aware of the profession she wants to follow in the future, it is extremely important that the fair was held, given that it gave her more information and allowed her to explore the subject further.
The student said that her classmates were enjoying the event "a lot", as they were all visiting the stalls to find out about the different professions at the fair.
