Accompanied until boarding at the port of Furna, these two athletes departed towards São Vicente, where the challenging national competition for athletes with cycling and aquatic skills will take place.

While Alexssander da Veiga demonstrated his prowess cycling along the island's rugged trails, Devin Garcia dived into the challenging waters off the coast of São Vicente.

The athletes who will participate in this event, planned to promote the versatility and resistance of athletes in different modalities, have the enthusiastic support of Councilor Mário Rodrigues, highlighting the importance of municipal support for local sport.

"It is an incredible opportunity to honor and support our talented athletes. They are examples of determination, discipline and skill, and I am proud to be able to witness their performance in this unique competition", expressed Councilor Rodrigues.

The event, which proved to be an exciting challenge for the athletes, provided not only a memorable sporting spectacle, but also emphasized the importance of sport as an agent of unity and inspiration in society.

The event will culminate in an awards ceremony where Councilor Mário Rodrigues hopes that Brava can be in award-winning places, recognizing the notable performance and courage of the participating athletes, but also adds that as there is no award for the island, it must be remember that there will be gains in terms of experience, considering that these athletes will be debutants in events of this kind.
