The two individuals had been detained in flagrante delicto by the staff of the Brava Police Station (EPB) for the crime of drug trafficking in January and February of the current year and were in custody in the civil jail on the island of Fogo.
Likewise, five individuals were presented today to the Public Ministry for the first interrogation.
According to a judicial source, in the context of an arrest warrant outside the flagrante delicto, the police authorities proceeded to the arrest of three national citizens, one of whom was a 44-year-old woman, accused of the crime of sexual aggression with penetration in co-authorship material and a 34-year-old male individual, accused of the crime of sexual assault with penetration into material authorship, and another 25-year-old, accused of the crime of qualified offense to physical integrity.
Those accused of the crime of sexual assault were present this afternoon at the judiciary for the first judicial interrogation, with the court applying, as a coercive measure, a ban on contact with the victim and a ban on leaving the country.

As part of the presentations to the Public Prosecutor's Office, the same source said that on Thursday, the 8th, as part of the execution of a search and seizure warrant, EPB staff seized 785 grams of marijuana (padjinha) and arrested, in flagrante delicto, of a 49-year-old national citizen, born in the parish of São João Baptista and residing in Nova Sintra.
Having been present today at the judiciary for the first judicial interrogation, he was applied the most serious coercive measure, preventive detention.
The last individual, a 15-year-old teenager, also detained in connection with the execution of a warrant, was presented today to the MP and for “being in conflict with the law”, as according to the judicial source there have been several complaints against him. The socio-educational precautionary measure was applied to this and will be taken to the Socio-Educational Center Orlando Pantera, on the island of Santiago.
