Christophe Mondoloni, one of the most prominent singers on the island of Corsica (France), is known for his “polyphonic songs”, a Unesco world heritage site, and in today's concert, in Praça Eugénio Tavares, Nova Sintra, he presents popular music from Corsica , accompanied by Banda Brava Sete Luas Band.

Speaking to the media, artist Christophe Mondoloni highlighted that music is the international passport, since, even separated by millions of kilometers, cultures are not so similar and the language is not the same, but the musical “connection” works .

“We can offer a good show to the Brava public tonight, together with the local group, because on the other islands it was good, I've already been to the islands of Santo Antão and Fogo”, he recalled.

Christophe Mondoloni also said that he is receiving a “formidable” welcome and that musically it is great, which is why he called on the public to attend the meeting and assured that the night will be beautiful.

In turn, José Duarte, one of the members of the Sete Luas Band, said that expectations are high, as it will be a different concert that the “home” audience is used to and will enjoy.

“SSSL production has always been promoting musical exchanges, in previous editions several artists came from different places, where we met cultures and fused bands. This time we have a musician who is from the island of Corsica, where we have also been”, he highlighted.

José Duarte highlighted that they will create a “fusion” between the two bands to show that music has no borders and that through it they will be able to unite all peoples.

In turn, the president of Brava City Council, Francisco Tavares, said that expectations for the event are as high as possible, because the SSSL festival has been bringing traditional music from various corners of the world.

Hence, he considered that musician Christophe Mondoloni and Banda Brava Sete Luas Band will bring a very pleasant mix.
During the month of October and within the framework of the Sete Sóis Sete Luas Festival, the Centrum da Brava will be the stage for several musical concerts and after Christophe

Mondoloni, another concert with Portuguese artist Cuca Roseta is scheduled for Friday the 13th.

The José Barros concert (Portugal) is scheduled for October 22nd and the Fetén concert (Spain) is scheduled for November 15th, both accompanied by the band Brava Sete Luas Band.

From the 11th to the 15th of November, an artistic residency with painting laboratories by artist Nelson Neves (Luxembourg) is scheduled to take place.
