A group of four young people from Brave, residents of the United States, former students of the school in Mato Grande, donated a refrigerator to this school as a way of helping to feed the children there.

Jovelina Pires, one of the promoters of this action, explained to Inforpress that during her stay on the island she was learning about the situation of the school, as it is a space that deposits immense affection.

Faced with the various difficulties, she was informed that the greatest need at the moment was a refrigerator.

As she arrived in Pawtucket Rhode Island, she got in touch with the others and they organized themselves to see that this need was eliminated from the list and the refrigerator was already at the school.

Asked about the possibility of continuing to support the school, the same source said that she, personally, will continue to be in contact with people linked to the educational institution and will do her best to always support and even mobilize other partners to support.

In what way, or what kind of support, she said she was not in a position to say, but added that the group that donated the glacier already has plans, which later on will be better defined and followed up.

According to her, supporting is not difficult for those who have conditions and demonstrate willingness to help those who need it most.

"It's simple. Just inform and any help, even if it is little, makes a difference in the lives of those in need”, said the young woman, adding that those who donate should not make choices, because they are all children and need it.
