Brava: New council team wants to get to know the corners of the house
The president of the Brava Municipal Council, Amândio Brito, said today that the new council team has been focused in these first days of management on getting to know the reality of the house, both internally and externally.
Amândio Brito, who spoke to the press, said that the group is getting to know the “modus operandi” of the municipality by sector “step by step”, in close coordination and dialogue with employees.
According to the new mayor, the first days in charge of the city council have been like this, taking ownership of the functional, management and administrative content of the municipality.
“We have already deliberated in some areas, specifically in the area of distributing portfolios to councilors so that we can better organize the functioning of this house and now things are taking a different direction,” he assured.
In this sense, the president made it known that the team is increasingly understanding the level of challenge involved in managing the municipality and is therefore striving to meet the expectations of voters who have placed their trust in this council team.
Brito also highlighted that those responsible for each department have already been appointed and each one will assume their responsibility in relation to the indicated council area, but he guaranteed that they will work as a team.
“We also want that as intermediate leaders who exist in various sectors in the city council, from the environment, transport, human resources management, patrimonial and financial and other management areas, we can establish an excellent relationship, so that all these management and administrative processes function in the best possible way”, he declared.
The mayor stated that the person appointed as councilor will perform this role, but, he noted, in line with the functionality of the chamber itself, that is, he must have a direct relationship with a certain leadership hierarchy that will include employees by sector.
“Each area has a group of collaborators and the municipality wants to work in articulation, coordination and dialogue with everyone who is part of a given sector, so that we can provide a healthy environment, a delivery process and commitment to the general functioning of the municipal council”, he said.
Amândio Brito assured, in conclusion, that the team is committed to everything that was said during the campaign and that from now on, during the term, the focus is to work to put into practice everything that was promised.
