A group of people from Brave has an undersigned in progress, already with more than 200 signatures and forwarded to the Minister of Justice, as a way of “demonstrating discontent” with the transfer of the current conservator/notary.
Speaking to the press, António Carlos de Pina, spokesman for the group, explained that this petition claims “essentially, Brava and the quality of service on the island”.
“We claim because Brava deserves to have capable people and staff on the island and we see no reason to transfer a capable staff, which is very well framed on the island and socially was very well accepted because other municipalities are in need”, said the spokesperson. voice.
As he explained, the reason for the transfer of the current registrar/notary on the island of Brava is due to the opening of a new Registry in São Vicente and he will work in this Registry.
António Cardoso de Pina, disgusted, says that Brava, “is also part of Cape Verde and needs competent staff”.
In view of this scenario, he added that the group had already addressed a missive to the Minister of Justice and Labour, with the knowledge of the mayor of Brava, the national deputies representing the island, among other entities linked to the situation.
According to the same source, “with all due respect” the minister and the Government suggest that “look for another solution for new notary offices that may be opened”, thus leaving the current conservator in Brava as he is, because the population is “satisfied” with your work.
“The undersigned that we circulate, the number of subscribers and people who show interest in signing up shows how satisfied people are with the work of the curator in question, as well as the discontent of always taking the good pictures from Brava to send to other municipalities”, reinforced António Carlos de Pina.
He also stressed that as Brave fans, they do not accept the reason given for the transfer, adding that they do not intend to approach or enter into the way in which the approach for this was made.
