Henrique de Pina, better known as Djick, says he is the oldest supporter and supporter of the Académica club on Brava and asks all supporters and former athletes for support so that the team can return to the pitch.

Speaking to Inforpress, Djick regretted the fact that the team did not participate for the first time in a sports season since its foundation, stressing that it was one of the first teams to appear in Brava and this interregnum was dictated by the lack of support and sponsorship.

And because he is not satisfied with the absence of his team in the games played at the Aquiles d'Olivera Stadium, he is looking for support to “lift up” the team, asking all his friends, supporters and former players to collaborate, as everyone knows that “Micá” has already made history in Brave football and in other fields outside the island.

“Every Sunday I come to the Stadium, but I don't feel completely happy because my team is not among the clubs that are competing in the regional competitions of the 2022/23 sporting season”, he lamented.

The same source highlighted that at Brava, at the moment, he is the only supporter and oldest supporter of the team, who works together with the leaders, so much so that all the team's materials, from equipment, cups, balls and among others are kept in his house. .

Djick recalled his childhood years when he went to watch the Académica games, still played on the dirt field (campinho de nhô padre), remembering that at that time, even Padre Pio was a player on the team, playing with his cassock among the others players, because at that time there were not so many conditions to play, but the players participated for the love of the shirt and the sport.

“Any help is welcome, but it must be made available at least until the month of June in order to look for players and prepare in time for the 2023/2024 sports season”, concluded the sympathizer.

Ilha Brava has seven federated teams, but this season is being disputed by four teams, namely Benfica, Corôa, Morabeza and Nô Pintcha, while Académica, Juventude and Sporting are off the pitch.
