Bravenses claim tarred road that connects Vila de Nova Sintra – Nossa Senhora do Monte

The population of Brave and especially the drivers are demanding that the connecting road between Vila de Nova Sintra and Nossa Senhora do Monte be paved and not paved, as part of the road rehabilitation project.

According to some citizens interviewed by Bravanews, asphalting conveys better safety and allows faster access to the locations through which this section of road passes.

In addition, they claimed the possibility of having an alternative road for this connection, since in the locality of Cova Joana there is a volcano and the popular fear that if “something” happens, the residents of the other localities further up may be without access to health services, among others, as these are concentrated in Vila de Nova Sintra.

The population demands the construction of walls, signage and reference, taking into account the visibility problem faced on this road in times of heavy fog.
