The Mayor, on behalf of all the island's inhabitants, highlighted the speed and effectiveness of the government's action, stressing that this gesture demonstrates the deep appreciation and respect that the government has for the people of Brava, especially in times of great difficulty. "The government's immediate response was a clear sign that we are not alone," said the Mayor. "This support is fundamental to helping our traders recover and to restoring normality to our island."

The fire, which occurred in the heart of Nova Sintra's shopping center, caused significant damage to several stores and establishments, affecting the lives of many local traders who depend on their businesses to support their families. The government's rapid intervention, through financial and logistical support measures, was crucial in minimizing the impact of the disaster and starting the reconstruction process.

The people of Brava, who came together in solidarity to support those affected by the fire, also expressed their gratitude to the government for its sensitivity and promptness. Many traders, who saw their businesses reduced to ashes, expressed their gratitude for the financial support that will allow them to start again.

Green, under the leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister, for the exemplary solidarity and immediate response to the fire that hit the shopping center in Nova Sintra, which greatly affected the shopkeepers, and has shaken our island.
This quick and concrete gesture of support demonstrates how much the government values the people of Brava at a time of great adversity.
We note with appreciation the immediate deployment of a team from the Ministry of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, as well as a team from the Ministry of Infrastructure, as well as telephone contacts expressing support from members of the Executive.
The presence of these teams on the ground, sent urgently to help the Brava, reflects an attitude of solidarity that touches us very much.
And we are pleased to note the work of the two teams currently on our island, who are visiting house to house, contacting each affected family individually to define people's profiles and ensure that support reaches those who need it most.
The Brava City Council reiterates that our primary objective is to support citizens, and collaboration with the Government is essential to this mission.
We want to continue to count on the support of the Honorable Prime Minister and the Honorable Ministers, in order to strengthen our capacity to meet the immediate needs of the population and plan for recovery in the short, medium and long term.
