The Council of Ministers approved this Thursday the resolution that authorizes the General Directorate of the Treasury to grant an extension of the bank financing guarantees that Transportes Aéreos Cabo Verde (TACV) contracted with Caixa Económica.

In a press conference today, the minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers explained that with this resolution the executive is extending the period of validity of existing guarantees, whose end was scheduled for this month of February and will be extended for another year.

“Like what happened last year, this year it is necessary to follow up and continue this stabilization plan and the acquisition by leasing of a second aircraft is planned. So there is this extension of these guarantees exactly to allow TACV to honor its commitments with Caixa Económica de Cabo Verde”, he maintained.
