Cabo Verde Interilhas is currently operating without two ships: Krioula and Praia d'Água, which are out of order. As a consequence, the connection on the Praia/Fogo/Brava/Fogo/Praia route is suspended.
«CV Interilhas informs passengers and the general public that due to an unexpected technical problem with the ship Krioula, which made the usual trip today (04/10) to the islands of Fogo and Brava impossible, it has become imperative to reschedule the operations of CV Interilhas, for the next few days», reads a note sent to this newspaper.
According to the same company, at the moment when the ship Praia d'Aguada is also at the Dock (Cabnave) for routine maintenance, CVI is working and making every effort and means available in order to find alternative solutions for the flow of passengers and cargo on the route operated by the two aforementioned ships. The firm asks for everyone's understanding of this situation.
It should be remembered that the ship Sotavento was recently integrated into the CVI route with the main objective of reinforcing and maintaining the normal functioning of inter-island maritime connections.
