During a live on one of the social networks, in an emotional way, Deth Martins explained that she was deeply upset with the criticism that circulated on social networks. She argued that many of those making these criticisms lacked a full understanding of the difficulties their team faced throughout the competition.
"I've always been here to defend my players because I know what they've been through," said Martins with passion. "Leaving Ilha Brava is a challenge in itself. And when we got to the national tournament, we faced a series of difficulties, including financial problems, intense heat and food shortages. It's easy to criticize from afar, but I was there with them, living every day. time."
She went on to explain that while the team has faced adversity, they have also had moments of overcoming that filled her with pride. "Our players showed incredible determination, and despite all the difficulties, they played with courage and passion. They deserve respect, not unfounded criticism."
