End of Cycle at Brava City Council: Francisco Tavares Thanks and Welcomes New Leadership

In Brava, a chapter of 12 years of work at the City Council, led by Francisco Tavares and his team, comes to an end. In an emotional message, Tavares thanked the people of Brava for the trust they placed in him during the period from 2012 to 2024, as councilor and president, highlighting moments of learning, growth and dedication to the island of Djabraba.
Tavares acknowledged the collaboration of fellow councilors, municipal secretaries and employees, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and everyone's contribution to the island's development. The now former president celebrated the arrival of a new leadership, headed by Amândio Brito, accompanied by four young councilors, and wished them success in their mission to serve Brava.
Francisco Tavares also wished everyone a Holy Christmas and a Happy New Year, ending his call as a municipal representative with words of gratitude and encouragement for the future of the island.
