First Cape Verdean Olympic medalist on his way to Praia
David Pina boarded a flight back to the country, aboard the national flag carrier
Cape Verde's first and only Olympic medalist is on his way to Praia aboard the TACV.
The boxer, who won a historic Bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, embarked on his return to the country aboard the Cape Verdean flag airline.
David de Pina is expected to arrive at 8:50 pm at Nelson Mandela International Airport, where he will be welcomed by the Cape Verdean Nation.
