Morabeza's team has had an undefeated campaign so far, and won the regional title one day from the end of the competition, disputed by four teams in this sporting season.
In the game in which they became two-time Brava regional champions, Morabeza thrashed Benfica 4-0 at Estádio Aquiles d´Oliveira, thus totaling 15 points in five games.
Morabeza started to score in the first minute of the match, with a goal scored by Cláudio, a result that remained until the end of the first 45 minutes of the game.
In the second half, Éta scored the second goal, just after three minutes, and then Darick and Deco scored the third and fourth goals, respectively, closing the score with 4-0.
Benfica made some attempts, but without success.
Morabeza's coach, Emanuel de Pina considered that the championship was a little complicated because it was disputed by four teams and the number of consecutive victories had to be done to guarantee the maximum possible score.
According to the “helmsman”, the players are to be congratulated for winning this title, which he dedicated to the fans and Morabeza core, committing to work to win the semi-finals of the Brava Cup and then win the trophy.
The objective is to represent Brava in the best possible way at the national level.
In turn, Adilson Bango, a member of Benfica's technical team, congratulated Morabeza's team on the victory, also making a positive assessment of today's game, stressing that the situation of the score of the games in Brava is not limited to the game played today, arguing that football on the island should be rethought.
In the second game of the day, Nô Pintcha drew 4-4 with Corôa, with goals scored by Djeuri, Nelito and Alex who scored twice for Nô Pintcha and Corôa were scored by Lucas, Rubem and Maruca who also scored twice.
The championship games are being interspersed with the Brava Cup games, which are being played by four of the seven federated teams, namely, Benfica, Corôa, Morabeza and Nô Pintcha.
