Football/Brava: Third round of the championship marked by defeats by Benfica and Morabeza

The third round of the Brava regional football championship, in the games played today, at the Aquiles D´Oliveira stadium, was marked by the victories of Benfica and Morabeza over the formations of Nô Pintcha and Corôa, respectively.

In the opening game, Benfica beat the Nô Pintcha team by 4-1, with goals from Djam, Ruben and Rubinho, who scored twice, and the only No Pintcha goal was scored by Djôdje.

In the second game, Morabeza thrashed Corôa by 5-0, with goals scored by Dá, Lúcio, Fábio and Cláudio, who scored twice.

The championship games will be interspersed with the Brava Cup games, which are being played by four of the seven federated teams, namely Benfica, Corôa, Morabeza and Nô Pintcha.

With today's results, the leaderboard is led by Morabeza, with nine points, followed by Benfica, six points, Corôa and Nô Pintcha, one point each.

For the next two weeks, the championship will suffer an interregnum and give way to the dispute of the second and third rounds of the Brava cup.
