Cidade de Nova Sintra, April 16, 2025 (Bravanews) - The Brava Municipal Council has announced the approval by the Brava Municipal Assembly of its Activity Plan and Budget for the year 2025. The news was welcomed by the team led by Mayor Amândio Brito, who sees these management instruments as the legal basis for boosting the municipality's development and making up for the time that has passed in the first third of the year.
In exclusive statements to Bravanews, Amandio Brito expressed his delight at the approval, stressing the importance of these documents for the municipal administration. "Having these two (2) management instruments approved means we have the legitimacy to better manage and administer the municipality. Precisely because they constitute real legal support that must govern the various procedures inherent in management acts," said the President.
With the approval of the Activity Plan and Budget, the municipality believes it has the necessary conditions to speed up the implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at the well-being of the Bravense population. Brito acknowledged that the first third of the year has already passed, but he was confident in his team's ability to make up for lost time. "As such, we believe we have the conditions to accelerate our steps and try to make up for lost time (1/3 of this year, 2025)," he assured.
The Mayor of Brava made a point of emphasizing his administration's commitment to citizen participation and transparency. "We want and wish to implement a local government in tune with all Bravenses, giving them space, a voice and a voice, and from now on we must do so," he declared. Brito reiterated that the main objective of his administration is to serve the municipality and its citizens well, maintaining a constant dialog and attunement with the needs of the population.
