It is impossible to remain calm and not think painfully about this country that is visibly receding when one falls into its administrative sector.

Today I went to the “House that should belong to the citizen but is no longer” in Mindelo,

to request a new issue of my National Citizen Card (CNI)!! That I got lost somewhere with other documents.

What was my astonishment, despite all the publicity, marketing and constant bluster, of a diligent security guard (who is not an employee) explaining to me that for the CNI only after the 15th of July and with prior scheduling.

Just imagine this!!

A single employee in attendance in one of the two rooms. Unpleasant. Just like the receptionist and others at the different counters, with a frown.

It is urgent to reformulate and structure this division that was created to serve. Where a lot has been invested.

A few years ago it provided a better service to citizens. They had a mission spirit. They were diligent!!

Now I don't know what they are!!

In short, a very mediocre note in this investment that was made to serve the citizen.
