In times of celebration, festivities and unity, it is essential that we recognize the effort and dedication

We want to express our Our deepest solidarity and support to all those who contributed to the realization of this magnificent event. In particular, to the members of the Riba D'ora group, who with sacrifice and creativity faced immense challenges, both last year and this year, to ensure that Carnival could be celebrated in all its splendor. We know how hard they worked, with limited resources, often without due support, but always with hearts full of hope and determination.

It is unfortunate that, instead of valuing this effort, unfounded criticism and destructive comments emerge. Those who criticize are often those who have done nothing and who do not have the courage to get involved and contribute to the cause. They do not know, nor can they imagine, the sacrifice that is necessary to keep the Brava culture alive, nor the hard work that goes into organizing an event like Carnival. What we saw yesterday was the result of sleepless nights, of joint efforts, of people who believe in preserving our traditions and in the importance of bringing joy to the hearts of the people of Brava.

These groups are not just working for an event, they are preserving our history, our identity, and it is these efforts that bring the island together in celebration, joy, and remembrance. We do not accept or condone unfounded criticism that only seeks to diminish the work of those who, with so much love and sacrifice, made Carnival possible.

To all those involved, our congratulations, our recognition and our eternal gratitude. May we always remember that behind every sparkle, every step, every song, there is a great story of struggle, overcoming and commitment to our culture. May the Brava Carnival continue to be a symbol of unity and strength. Together, we are stronger!
