Ivone Cardoso elected President of the Municipal Assembly of Brava on the MpD List
City of Nova Sintra, December 9, 2024 (Bravanews) - For the first time in the democratic history of the island of Brava, two parties assume power in a shared manner. Ivone Cardoso, candidate for the Movement for Democracy (MpD), was elected President of the Municipal Assembly of Brava, while Amândio Brito, elected by the African Party for the Independence of Cape Verde (PAICV), assumes the presidency of the Municipal Council.
