Júlio Correia acts in a way that publicly harms PAICV

Júlio Correia acts in a way that publicly hurts the PAICV, and the impression that remains is that he is intentionally trying to destroy something that he helped build, in a kind of “they won’t benefit from my sweat”. His recent actions show a retaliatory stance that damages the party's image and undermines the people's trust in PAICV. He is causing the PAICV to lose credibility, further accentuating the crisis of trust that was already significant.

Júlio Correia had his rise and success, in large part, due to the constant support of PAICV. He, who was once a minister, vice-president of PAICV and president of the chamber, had the support of the party several times in his political career. However, his recent actions somehow suggest a deep ingratitude and a desire for retaliation that is severely damaging the party.
At the end of the day, this is just more evidence of what I have here: PAICV, in general terms, is very weak. Current leadership appears unable to inspire confidence or offer a clear, unifying vision. The need for profound reforms is evident. These reforms must resonate not only with party members, but also with neutral people, who are looking for a reliable and efficient alternative.
However, I believe that the implementation of these reforms is hampered by the lack of global leaders within the party. The absence of charismatic and visionary figures who can rally popular support and drive substantial change makes this work extremely difficult. Without strong and consistent leadership, PAICV runs the risk of continuing to lose relevance and popular support. And until these changes occur, the party will continue to struggle against the rising tide of distrust and disillusionment.
