MpD presents candidates for Municipal Assemblies

The vice-president of the Movement for Democracy (MpD), Fernando Elísio Freire, today presented the party's candidates for the presidency of the Municipal Assemblies for the 2024 municipal elections.

At a press conference held today, Fernando Elisio Freire said that the candidates were chosen in accordance with the regulations approved by the National Political Commission and validated by the party's National Directorate.

"Candidates will fully respect transparent and participatory territorial management, promoting the emergence and consolidation of healthy cities, with adequate infrastructure for sport, culture, housing, energy transition and environmental protection," he stated.

As the politician argued, the candidates are aligned with the MpD's vision for housing, sport, creative industries and municipal development.
