Furna multipurpose facility receives new resin flooring, but faces infrastructure problems
City of Nova Sintra, August 2, 2024 (Bravanews) - The community of Furna celebrates the recent improvement in the local Multipurpose facilities, with the application of a new resin floor that promises to increase the durability and safety of the space. However, enthusiasm is tempered by a series of challenges the center currently faces.
The new floor, which was installed with the aim of offering a more resistant and easy-to-maintain surface, has received praise for its quality. However, the condition of the building's walls is worrying. According to local sources, the walls are showing signs of deterioration, which could compromise the structural integrity of the building if not addressed urgently.
Furthermore, Polivalente is facing problems with electricity, having had its supply cut recently. The interruption in supply has directly affected scheduled activities, hampering events and activities that are essential for the community.
While the new floor is a significant advance, the situation of the walls and the electricity issue require immediate attention to ensure the continuity of activities and the safety of users.
The local community expects the competent authorities, in this case the city council of Brava, to act quickly to resolve these issues and restore the full functionality of the Polivalente da Furna.
