Nhô Santo António/Brava: Organization assigns a positive note to the public in carrying out and participating in sports activities

The organization of the Nhô Santo António festivities, in the locality of Lém, in Brava, attributed a “positive note” to the public for the involvement and support it has given in carrying out the sporting activities, hoping that this will be the case in the others.

Speaking to Inforpress, Alex Garcia, a member of the Lém association and responsible for sporting activities, after delivering the trophies of sporting activities on Thursday night, highlighted that all this was possible thanks to the “massive participation” of the public and the commitment of teams from all locations to participate in activities.

As told by the same source, the start of activities took place on May 13 with the holding of tournaments and the "full house", every day, is demonstrating that the flag of Nhô Santo António, which knows its high point in the on the 13th of June, with a mass and procession in honor of Santo António, “it will be celebrated with all the force it has always had”.

As he explained, in this tournament Nhô Santo António had the participation of different levels, namely under-12, under-15, senior men, senior women and old glories, with the participation of a total of 16 teams from different locations and all competitions came to an end without any surprises, culminating in the delivery of trophies to the winners.

Alex Garcia also informed that other sports and cultural activities will be carried out, listing the 'Miss Santo António' that takes place today, the cycling, donkey and athletics races, in addition to musical activities and the traditional flag.
