The mother of the former president of the Republic Jorge Carlos Fonseca, Albertina Fonseca, died this Friday, at the age of 95, informed today, to Inforpress, a source close to the family.

According to the same source, Albertina Fonseca would have completed another year of life this month and was still undergoing treatment for a Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA).

“She was undergoing treatment because she had a stroke, but it was really old age because she would complete, this month, on the 24th, 96 years old”, he stressed.
