Orlando Balla endorses the candidacy of Francisco Tavares for city council in Brave

We are about to enter the electoral campaign period for the municipal elections.
An important period for all those who are sincerely interested in the development process of our Municipality (Brava), our country and our people in Brava and Cape Verde in general.
I believe that the candidates must have a firm position, a clear vision of their plans, projects and administration procedures in the materialization of the power of the position of President of the City Council of Brava to reach the desired goal of a Brava developed correctly and the Bravense people benefited for balanced development.
This vision was seeded with the Brava Development Forum in October 2013. Today it is finally a reality. Brava has its “Municipal Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development”.
The MpD candidate for Mayor of Brava is Francisco Walter de Sousa Tavares, an intelligent, well-educated, hard-working, educated young Bravense, a friend of Brava and the people – committed and convinced to continue working with efficiency and dedication for the good of the people and the island.
I remain satisfied, grateful and proud of the successes he has achieved during the last 3 years of his term, confirming his mastery of the matters of functioning of a City Council with the particularities of Brava. I am proud of the fact that he overcame all the obstacles and challenges placed in the course of his mandate, grateful for having followed through on the ongoing projects, thought and planned since 2012 – even more grateful for his love, respect and consideration for Brava and for the people Bravense. In this chapter, he positively surprised me because he made a mandate with people and places, especially with those who most need a helping hand.
That's why I'm here, publicly, declaring my unconditional support for your candidacy.
With absolute certainty and fact, he is the right man to continue as mayor of Brava. I also fully support the young and well-trained team to work together with the president for the good of the people and of Brava.
I advise all members of this team to maintain a position of firmness, concentration on the noble objective of serving our Djabraba and our people, always behaving with respect, dignity, perseverance and tolerance. You are of the Good and for the Common Good. The purpose of winning the election is to serve our island and our people with the wisdom of Solomon, the patience of Job, the tolerance of the most unfortunate and the sincere benevolence of a good leader.
