According to Genio Borges, the head of the Pathfinders group, the training was an absolute success. "It was a very fruitful, useful and wonderful experience for all the participants," said Borges. He emphasized the relevance of the training to the day-to-day lives of the Pathfinders, who are often involved in outdoor and community activities, where the ability to provide first aid can make a difference.

The training covered basic techniques for assessing victims, treating minor injuries, immobilization, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other essential skills for responding to medical emergencies until health professionals arrive. The initiative demonstrates the commitment of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Pathfinders club to preparing its members to serve the community safely and effectively.

The active participation and enthusiasm shown by the Pathfinders during the training shows the importance that young people attach to acquiring knowledge that can save lives. The training in first aid will certainly strengthen the capacity of the group of Pathfinders from the Parish of Nossa Senhora do Monte to make a positive contribution to the well-being of the community of Ilha Brava.
