City of Nova Sintra, February 12, 2024 (Bravanews) - The municipal leader of Brava, Francisco Tavares received a group of young people from Cova Rodela to discuss the necessary reconstruction and rehabilitation works of the Local Sports Board. During the meeting, several important issues were addressed and clarified.

The municipal leader informed the young people that the project and budget for the works have already been prepared and that the contract for the resin floor has already been signed with the responsible company. Furthermore, he assured that Brava City Council has already included the necessary funds for the works in the 2024 municipal budget.

Francisco Tavares informed that to finance part of these works, the Municipal Assembly approved a bank loan that will cover 60% of the expenses. He also committed to ensuring that the works are completed by September this year.

Tavares said that in addition to issues related to the works at Placa Desportiva, the meeting provided an opportunity for young people to discuss the functioning and municipal budget, as well as the local political structure, including the functions of the Chamber and the Municipal Assembly.

The frank and direct dialogue was described as very pleasant and positive by both parties. Young people expressed their attention and interest, highlighting the importance of being well informed to confirm their opinions.
