Born on November 10, 1978 in the municipality of Praia, Clovis Isildo Barbosa de Lomba Silva has a strong connection with the Island of Flores. According to a family source, the only reason he wasn't born in Brava was because his mother had to stay in Praia to accompany a family member who was sick and ended up dying in that municipality of Santiago. “Clovis” spent his entire childhood in Brava, where his father, Isilldo Silva, took up residence with his family in the 1980s, when he was called upon to hold the position of local government delegate.
