Estrada NSM/President of CM Brava responds to the accusation of deviation, with a laconic - PAICV lies

Nova Sintra, Feb 8 (Bravanews) - Following the declaration by the African Party for the Independence of Cape Verde, Concelhia da Brava, reporting that the budget for the road to Nossa Senhora will be cut by more than 50%, the President of CM Brava Francisco Tavares alleges that the leadership of this party is lying.

In a note published on its page in one of the social networks, PAICV/Brava claims that each time they seek more information “about the investments of this MPD Government for Brava and we discover that it is all political marketing. UNFORTUNATE"!

They advance that the recent information from those responsible for the work made the PAICV/Brava even sadder with the rehabilitation works on the Nova Sintra/Nossa Senhora do Monte road, stating that the said road will only absorb less than 50% of the value initially it was intended for the work.

In this context, contacted, the Mayor of Brave, Francisco Tavares, said that once again the PAICV lies and acts lightly.

“Another lie and levity”, because it is enough to calculate the length and width of the road, based on the cost price per square meter, which easily arrives at the real value.

“It is clear that the PAICV BRAVA has lost all shame and can only be crazy”, said the mayor of the island of flowers in a laconic way, adding that since when has lying been a political strategy.

He ends by saying that with sadness and concern “I see the decay of the opposition in Brava”.

This soap opera is far from over, as the road has barely begun to be rehabilitated and it rains criticism from all sides about quality, costs, deviations and others, a propitious scenario for political struggles in election years.
