Samuel Varela stressed the crucial importance of this new access road, emphasizing that it will provide better safety conditions for users. In addition, the infrastructure will enhance the entire coastal area, including Porteti Beach. With an approximate length of 4.5 kilometers, the road will offer an alternative solution for connections between the towns, solving existing connection problems.

The MP also recalled that the government has already invested more than 23,000 escudos in maintenance work on the existing road, following a collapse in September last year. This investment demonstrates the government's ongoing commitment to safety and accessibility in the region.

Samuel Varela praised Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva, highlighting his ability to find solutions that benefit the people and the islands, following the principle of subsidiarity. He stressed that this project is further proof of the government's commitment to the development of Brava.

The new access road promises to transform the lives of Brava's residents, improving safety, accessibility and the region's economic development. With the completion of this project, the island will be better connected, facilitating the transportation of people and goods, and boosting tourism and local commerce.
