DOWNLOAD POLICY versus NON-EXISTENCE OR INEFFECTIVENESS OF CRIMES OF LIABILITY OF POLITICIANS.

Without wanting to defend party A, B or C, what is certain is that Cape Verde has a devastating policy of "let it down". That is, party A wins the elections, the first action on the day after taking office is to try to demolish what party B did.

This type of policy is most notorious in the MpD. They took all the positions of leadership out of the hands of those who held them to give them to their friends in the party and not according to a judicious professional competence, because the previous holders of these positions did not "serve". However, for example, the most "competent", excited about the position that fell to them by parachute, ended up falling into the net of corruption or incompetence, as they were party activists, which is not to be confused with professional competence. A very explicit case is that of the MA Delegate at Brava.
This does not mean that everyone demonstrates incompetence. Some even manage to overcome and do well in office. The problem is that the party's main criterion is membership and not technical competence. Hence all the tangle of problems.

In Cape Verde, educational reforms take place in almost every election or mandate of a political party, with all the resulting costs, while the population lacks basic rights, such as HOUSING. These so-called reforms only satisfy a political elite, but not the real needs that are imposed. WHAT A LUXURY! Just by way of example, school manuals were changed completely, in a hurry, without the quality expected from impartial educational policies committed to knowledge and know-how. One of the levels that suffers the most is basic education.
A major aberration that is remembered was a radical change in the educational system, only by ministerial order, opposing the basic law of the educational system.

They don't want to pave the road to Nossa Senhora do Monte on the grounds of environmental impact. There must be a negative impact of tar on the great ecological reserve of the great local ecosystem; harm to endemic birds that only exist in the locality; to the public health problem of the highly esteemed population, with exposure to high levels of highly dangerous chemical products reminiscent of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, whose accident claimed lives and the population still suffers sequels to this day.

Now, regarding Casa para Todos, in order not to follow up on the social housing policy, the houses are kept closed only for political whims of overthrowing policies inherited from the other party, on the grounds of irregularities. If there is any irregularity that they can correct and follow up with the social housing policy, they prefer to leave the population with the idea that the problem is so acute and difficult to solve. They do not present alternatives and even evict citizens who live in shacks, problems that the parties themselves create.

The works are projected, built by the government of one party, but winning the other, they no longer serve.
This way of doing politics is visible and notorious, which only brings setbacks to our country.
They use half-truths, talk about non-compliance with the other party's contracts when he himself prefers that to happen, with all the indemnifying consequences, to use this as a weapon in elections and to deceive the less informed. As they know that it is difficult for the population to have access to all the documentation, it remains to be said and unsaid. If the paicv leader herself has been complaining about lack of access to dossiers, imagine the rest of us.
May we draw the appropriate conclusions!
Faced with these and many others that I consider crimes of RESPONSIBILITY, Cape Verde will only move forward if it starts to hold politicians criminally responsible. The PGR needs to be more active and have a strong legal backing. To this end, anti-corruption packages should be legislated as a way of discouraging criminal practices against the public purse that have been committed, but without due criminal consequences.

LET THE DUE LESSONS BE DRAWN!
