In a note sent, TechParkCV explains that this initiative will have the participation of approximately 30 young people, including a student from São Vicente.

The training aims to enable young people between the ages of 16 and 24 to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through the use of App Inventor.

The same source highlights that the training represents a significant milestone for the Cape Verde Technology Park project and its ambition to consolidate itself as an innovation hub in the Atlantic.

A team of six MIT experts will be present to lead the course, bringing the experience and teaching methodology of one of the most prestigious institutions in the world.

Participants completed the program with a globally recognized certificate of participation. At the end of the training, there will be a final presentation, where participants will demonstrate the applications developed, with innovative solutions to real problems.

According to the same source, the training marks the beginning of a broader program that aims, in the future, to attract participants from all the islands of Cape Verde and, potentially, from ECOWAS countries.

“TechParkCV believes that this will be a decisive step towards training local and regional talent, strengthening Cape Verde as a reference in technology and innovation”, he emphasizes.
