Ministers and Secretaries of State will spend more than 600,000,000.00 (six hundred million escudos) on trips alone, but they refuse to spend around 400 thousand escudos for the road from Nova Sintra to Nossa Senhora do Monte.
-
The Government is not thinking twice about increasing its travel budget, but it is pushing against a legitimate request from the population of Brava.
-
Let's see:
-
In 2015, the State Budget provided 400 thousand contos for travel, when the current government took office, this amount increased to 550 thousand contos in 2016.
This value for trips rose again to 650 thousand in 2018.
-
And now it foresees a value of 630 thousand contos in 2020, keeping the value above 600 thousand contos.
-
PAICV/Brava warns that during this mandate that began in 2016, there was no structuring work carried out on Brava, and this budget does not foresee any structuring work for Brava to be carried out.

-
Brava needs to dream Big.
-
Brava needs to be included in the national development train.
-
The Government of Cape Verde has already shown in these 5 years that it does not have Ilha Brava in its Plans.
-
The Brava City Council has already shown that it does not know how to defend Brava's interests.
-
It is already clear that Brava is the least developed island in Cape Verde.
-
We must say ENOUGH!!
