Said event will take place on July 29th, in the City of East Providence, Rhode Island, under the traditional “doll baptism” bringing the community together in a gesture of solidarity and love.

The initiative came from a group of volunteers from Grupo Tradição, which has been dedicated to social and community causes for years. With the aim of providing financial support to institutions and programs that serve people with disabilities on the island, they decided to create a unique way to attract attention and involve the community in their actions.

The doll's baptism, a pretext for holding this event, explains the importance of the initiative for the community and emphasizes the need for continuous support for people with disabilities.

In addition to the baptism itself, the event has several activities to entertain the participants. Live music, traditional dancing and theatrical performances, all performed by local artists who generously donate their time and talent to support the cause, accompanied by the John Miranda band.

Grupo Tradição establishes partnerships with local companies that donate products and services to people with disabilities on Ilha Brava.

The exemplary action of Grupo Tradição demonstrates the importance of solidarity and community involvement in the search for a more inclusive society. It is hoped that this initiative will inspire other people and groups to unite in favor of social causes, promoting positive changes in the lives of those who need it most.
