Tribute to the Delgado Couple - Faithful Servants of the Lord.
The Nova Sintra Church of the Nazarene is starting a beautiful initiative: each week we will pay tribute to those who, with love and dedication, have contributed to the growth and strengthening of God's work. Today, with deep affection and gratitude, we pay tribute to a couple who are an example of faith, commitment and service: José and Cândida Delgado.
Faithful servants for over 40 years, José Delgado and Cândida Delgado are pillars solids of our church. Their love for God and the church is evident in every gesture, every word, every attitude. They have been true instruments in the Lord's hands, and they continue to work with the same fervor and joy as when they began this journey.
José Delgado, a calm and amiable man, is known for his direct and clear way of communicating the truths of the Gospel. He speaks with wisdom and authority, making everyone understand the message in depth. A man of firm faith, José has seen generations pass through our church, as well as several pastors with whom he has always walked with loyalty and reverence. His presence is a constant blessing among us.
Cândida Delgado, a woman of unshakeable faith, has been a tireless companion on this journey. Her joy is contagious, her energy seems endless, and her willingness to serve is a true testimony to Christ's love. She is a source of encouragement to everyone around her, and her lightness and humor warm the hearts of the church. Candida is living proof that those who serve God with love never grow old in spirit.
For more than four decades, this couple has served the Nova Sintra Church of the Nazarene with integrity, humility and zeal. They continue to be active, steadfast and available for everything that concerns the Kingdom of God.
May the Lord continue to pour out blessings without measure on the Delgado couple. May the youth of the church see them as an example to follow, a living reminder that it's worth living for Christ and giving your whole self to Him.
The Church of Nova Sintra expresses its most sincere gratitude for all these years of dedication to the Lord's work. Serving the church is an act of love, and the "thank you" we say today is just a reflection of the deep gratitude we have in our hearts.
May God's faithfulness continue to be poured out on this family, and may their joy in the Lord last forever.
